consultation session Tafila

WEE Pros team in Jordan concluded 4 "gender-inclusive" consultation workshops in governorates of Madaba, Karak, Tafila, and Ma’an, as part of the consultancy contract under the FAO project supporting compliance with green construction and water-saving frameworks. The consultations represent a key deliverable designed to inform the development of a Technical Assistance and Capacity Development Plan. Each session featured a structured presentation covering the project context, national climate adaptation priorities, and proposed training topics. This was followed by open discussions to capture stakeholder input on barriers, needs, and opportunities.

The BRCCJ project funded by Green Climate Fund (GCF) aims to improve the resilience of vulnerable populations and agricultural systems to climate change by supporting efficient and sustainable water management practices, enhancing institutional capacity, and promoting climate adaptation measures across multiple sectors. The consultations, therefore, provide a critical link between the project’s institutional objectives and the capacity-building interventions to be designed through this consultancy.
