As we look forward to 2025, may our collective efforts continue to drive sustainable growth, create meaningful impact, and bring hope for a brighter and more equitable future.
We extend our heartfelt wishes to all communities worldwide where resource justice and access to essential services, including water and sanitation, remain a challenge—especially in Gaza and across Palestine. In Gaza, only one in ten people have direct access to safe drinking water, with many receiving as little as 1 to 3 liters per day, far below the World Health Organization's recommended minimum. Approximately 1.8 million people require urgent humanitarian assistance to meet basic water, sanitation, and hygiene needs.
Similar challenges persist in regions across Africa, such as Ethiopia, Somalia, and Sudan, where droughts and conflict have left millions without clean water and sanitation. Other parts of the world, including Yemen and South Asia, also face critical water shortages that demand urgent action.
To help raise awareness about the importance of water and sanitation processes, WEE Pros has designed a special 2025 calendar. Each month highlights key aspects of these essential services, complete with QR codes that link to videos explaining each process by senior advisor Mr. Rüdiger Heidebrecht. We hope this calendar inspires greater understanding and action toward sustainable solutions.
