Under the framework of Promotion of training to improve efficiency in water and energy sector in Jordan (TWEED II) project, WEE Pros GmbH provided technical expertise to develop business model for the center of excellence (COE) in renewable energy sector in Mafraq governorate which provided international standards and examples for center of excellence (COE) in renewable energy sector. In addition to listing governance, roles and responsibilities of center staff and the Regional Sector Skills Committee consisting out of employers and other main stakeholders to define labor market needs. The business model also outlines monitoring and evaluation system framework for COE which includes key performance indicators for all levels of governance and activities in the centers of excellence.
In this assignment, WEE Pros GmbH developed a conceptual outline for partnering the COE with a German institute working on renewable energy targeting vocational training programs and identifying potential German twinning partner institutions.
