Within the activities of strengthening regulatory functions of the Utility Performance Monitoring Unit (UPMU) for improving performance of the Water Utilities project implemented by WEE Pros GmbH in collaboration with GIZ and UPMU; WEE Pros GmbH delieverd 2 days training workshops in Amman, Jordan to review and share the draft regulatory guidelines:

  • Business Planning Guideline for Water Utilities in Jordan             
  • Customer Services and Relationship Management Guidelines for Water Utilities in Jordan             

With active participation from different department representatives from Miyahuna, Aqaba Water and Yarmouk Water Company, the workshop reviewed the content of each guideline and how it will help water utilities in developing and updating their business plans regularly to monitor and follow up their strategic objectives and priorities investment needs, while aiming to achieve service delivery targets. The customer services and relationship management guidelines sets the minimum standards for customer services and relationship management protocols in unified approach among the 3 water utilities in Jordan.
